A February harbinger of spring (2020)

Today was grey and drizzly and frankly fairly miserable, but there is no question we’re getting on the road to spring.

On a drive to Sarlat for an errand this afternoon, we came upon this lovely row of trees — in full flower. Have a look:

Pretty in pink.

Coincidentally I thought of you and your blog today, while wondering how things are in your corner of the world. Very pretty blossoms! I’m very excited for Spring. 🌸🌞

Thanks very much! Coincidentally (!!), I had just finished one of your most recent postings when I saw this comment. All is well here, although we could be doing with less rain. On Friday (Valentine’s Day) we are going for lunch to Le Petit Paris in Daglan — a further sign that the dreaded winter season is ending. The restaurant is closed for most of the winter. Best wishes!

And I look forward to the lunch! Cheers, Loren
