Back road, in autumn

I’ve often written about the back road from Daglan up through St Cybranet and on to Castelnaud — my favourite route for a pleasant bike ride. The route starts just on the edge of Daglan (right at Bunny Meadows, in fact) and continues north, sometimes running right beside the Céou River, and other times through fields or forests. Here’s a lovely photo that my wife took recently, while on her morning walk. A lovely country road, don’t you agree?

    Hi Loren,

I want to look at this picture every day (I just saved it as my desktop background).

PPS: Your Jour Armistice sounds just about perfect.

That’s great, Mary Lynn. Jan’s credits as a photo-journalist just keep on growing.

    D’accord.
