Why “Radio Free Daglan”?

Many readers have asked about the name of this blog. (Okay, no one actually has. But they might. Work with me here.) The answer is simple: I don’t know, it just sounds kind of neat. Like “Radio Free Europe,” or those other great “Radio Free” things. That I can’t think of.

Best of all, I thought of the name while riding south from Paris on the train. How cool is that? It just wouldn’t be the same if I’d thought of the name while eating fish and chips in East York.
